All our rooms are en-suite, with a shower, hot water and a window. Every one has air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter — and you will want both, because the Sahara is not warm all year. Nights in January can drop close to freezing.
The decoration is Berber and it is not a theme. The blankets are woven in this region, the lamps are made in Morocco, and the plasterwork on the walls was done by hand by people from the village. What you will not find is a television. There is WiFi in the communal areas, and it works well enough for messages and maps. Out at the bivouac there is no signal at all, which most guests decide they like.
The three apartments
Three of our eight rooms are apartments. They suit families staying several nights, or anyone who wants their own front door and a bit of separation from the main house. Ask us when you book — they are not always free.

Rates are per room, not per person, and include breakfast for everyone in the room. Dinner at the hotel is €12 per person, lunch the same. Children under 6 stay free, 6 to 11 pay half. Prices shown are as of July 2026.
What the rate gets you
Breakfast is bread baked here that morning, olive oil, jam, eggs if you want them, coffee and mint tea. Dinner is normally a soup, then a tagine or couscous, then fruit. If you are vegetarian, vegan, coeliac or allergic to something, tell us when you book. We cook everything from raw ingredients in our own kitchen, so accommodating you is genuinely not a problem.
