Multi-day circuits between the imperial cities and the dunes: Ifrane and the Middle Atlas cedars, the Ziz Valley, two nights here (riad + desert camp), then the Todra Gorges, the Dadès, the Valley of Roses and on to Marrakech.

Marrakech ↔ Merzouga ↔ Marrakech
The classic round trip from Marrakech: over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, through the Dadès and Todra gorges, a night or two here at the dunes — riad and desert camp — and back by the southern oases.

The Sahara on foot. You walk the dunes at a caravan's pace; dromedaries carry the luggage. Nights in a wild camp, in an oasis among the dunes, and with a nomad family.

Trek
The desert on foot: two or three nights of trekking
This is the desert as the caravans knew it. You walk — two to four unhurried hours a day along the dune lines — while the dromedaries carry everything. No engine, no road, no schedule except the sun.
Each night is different. One is a wild camp: mattresses, blankets and a fire, nothing between you and the stars. One is spent in an oasis in the middle of the dunes. And one is spent with a nomad family — tea, talk, and bread baked under the sand the way it has been done forever.
Two or three nights, any season. We plan the route around you — ask us on WhatsApp and we will build it together.
The Marrakech route, done properly
A lot of visitors land in Marrakech, spend a few days there, then want the desert. It is about 560 km and there is no fast way to do it. Done as a 3-day, 2-night route it works like this:
Day 1 — Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Dadès
An early start over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, the visit to the fortified ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, then the Valley of Roses and a night in the Dadès gorges.
Day 2 — Dadès → Todra → Merzouga
The Tinghir palm grove and the Todra gorges in the morning, then Erfoud and Rissani, arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon. Camel trek at sunset and the night at our bivouac.
Day 3 — Merzouga → Draa Valley → Marrakech
Breakfast on the dunes after sunrise, then back across the Draa Valley and the Tichka pass to Marrakech.
The 4-day version adds a night and takes the pressure off — we recommend it if you can spare the time. Full route detail is on the Marrakech to Merzouga page.
The Fès route
Coming from the north? The same journey works from Fès: your driver collects you at your hotel, up over Ifrane and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, down the Ziz Valley to Merzouga for two nights — one at the riad, one at the desert camp — then on through the Todra Gorges, the Dadès, the Valley of Roses and the Berber kasbahs to Marrakech.
